Resources

New This Week:

Not much new this week in the land of credit cards and banking. My favorite business credit card did announce that its increased signup bonus of 120,000 points is expiring on 9/5/24 at 7:00 am EST.

Rates on savings accounts, CDs and no-penalty CDs have remained largely unchanged.

Offers Still Available:

  • American Express increased the welcome offer on its Business Gold Card by 30,000 Membership Rewards points (now 100k)
  • Capital One increased its welcome offer on the Venture Rewards Card that's valued at $1,000 when used for travel.
  • The largest bonus I'm aware of at $2,000 for the Capital One Spark Cash Plus. Details: Get $2,000 Cash Back once you spend $30,000 in the first 3 months. Earn an additional $2,000 cash bonus for every $500K spent during the first year
  • For those with a small business who stay at Hyatt Hotels regularly, there's an increased signup bonus on this card.

Best, Rob Berger
