What I'm Reading, Listening To, and Watching

For reasons I can't fully explain, I started reading Stephen King's It: A Novel. I do love how he tells a story, even if the plots go sideways on him from time to time.
I've been listening to Cenk Uygur: Trump vs Harris, Progressive Politics, Communism & Capitalism, on the Lex Fridman podcast. I've never heard of Cenk Uygur before, and I know nothing of his background. I do wish he was less certain of his views. Certainty kills curiosity.
Recently, I had the pleasure of joining Jesse Cramer on his podcast, The Best Interest.

My favorite business credit card announced that its increased signup bonus of 120,000 points is expiring on 9/5/24 at 7:00 am EST.
The Capital One Venture Rewards Card's increased signup bonus valued at $1,000 when used for travel is ending on 9/9/24.

Rates on savings accounts, CDs and no-penalty CDs have remained largely unchanged.
